Privacy Policy

What we collect
Canada Momentum does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There is no account registration, no login, no comment section, and no forms that capture personal data.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service provided by Cloudflare. It does not use cookies, does not track visitors across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Only aggregate, anonymized metrics — such as page view counts — are retained. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use fingerprinting and is not connected to any advertising network. For details, see cloudflare.com/web-analytics.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. No automated decision-making, profiling, or behavioral tracking is conducted.
Server infrastructure
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. The data API runs on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database that stores only computed index values derived from publicly available Statistics Canada data. Cloudflare may retain standard server access logs — including IP address, request path, browser user agent, and timestamp — for a limited period as part of their infrastructure operations. These logs are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and are not used by Canada Momentum for any identification or tracking purpose.
Cookies
This site does not set any first-party cookies. Cloudflare may set a technical security cookie (__cf_bm) on some requests for bot management purposes. No advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies are used.
Third-party data sources
All economic index data displayed on this site is sourced from Statistics Canada's publicly available Web Data Service. These requests contain no personal information and are subject to the Statistics Canada terms of use.
Your rights under Canadian law
Canada Momentum operates in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Because we do not collect personal information in the ordinary course of our operations, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you believe that personal information has been inadvertently collected, please contact us at [email protected] and we will address your request promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the site evolves. Any material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. This site does not operate a mailing list; if you wish to stay informed of changes, bookmark this page.
